Cunningham Security Systems Acquires S.W. Alarms, Expanding Service in Southeastern Massachusetts

Longtime S.W. Alarms customers will continue to receive local service from familiar technicians, now backed by Cunningham's broader regional team.

FALMOUTH, Maine, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cunningham Security Systems announced today that it has acquired S.W. Alarms, LLC, a longtime provider of security, fire alarm, surveillance and access-control services based in Pembroke, Massachusetts.

The acquisition expands Cunningham's presence in Plymouth County and Southeastern Massachusetts while preserving the local relationships and technical knowledge S.W. Alarms customers have relied upon. Existing customer phone numbers remain active, and monitoring and service continue without interruption.

S.W. Alarms founder Steve Wescott and his son, Michael Wescott, will continue working with Cunningham and serving customers throughout the region. The existing S.W. Alarms location will remain in use for inventory and technician dispatch, providing operational continuity alongside Cunningham's Massachusetts service network.

Cunningham also operates an office at 4 Barlows Landing Road, Suite 13, in Pocasset, supporting Cape Cod, Plymouth County and Southeastern Massachusetts.
