HP Inc. (HPQ) Sees Notable Put Buying - Susquehanna

Susquehanna options strategist Alison Edwards notes put buying HP Inc. (NYSE: HPQ).

"An opening investor in HP Inc. bought 10k Aug12 31.5 (.28d) puts for $0.35, opening exposure to a move 4% lower," Edwards comments. "The trading is notably not expected to capture earnings, which are not expected until later in the month (Bloomberg est. 8/26). The volume is notable compared to an ADV of 16k contracts."
