Citi initiates coverage on Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) with a Neutral rating and $27 price target.
Analyst Mark May comments, "Great potential and asset value (large, engaged global audience; data) and sentiment is improving at these levels, but desktop to mobile transition creates uncertainty, particularly about 2H13 numbers. Other examples of transitional/n-t forecasting risk incl. ad products chgs, News Feed redesign, and opex/margin guidance. Could pull monetization levels (e.g., ad network, video), but if/when/what? Hard to take a side currently; need to get comfortable w/ 2H13/CY14 numbers."
