DA Davidson initiated coverage on shares of UniSource Energy Corporation (NYSE: UNS) with a Buy rating and a $41 price target Wednesday morning.
The firm believes UniSource is "facing an extensive multi-year capital spending plan geared toward improving the reliability and efficiency of the electric grid in southern Arizona." DA Davidson sees the Tucson area as "still in the early stages of a recovery, and recent population growth has been well below historical levels. An improvement in organic growth would provide an attractive tailwind to margins..."
