The analyst comments "We are initiating coverage of OneWater Marine Inc. (ONEW) with a NEUTRAL rating and $35 PT, which is based on a forward EV/EBITDA multiple of 3.0x our FY23E: $247.0M (vs. $256.0M Consensus). While we remain positive on the long-term outlook for ONEW’s business, we are cautious on ONEW's near-term margin outlook given the current macro backdrop/demand trends and its exposure to boats under 30’, which are likely to replenish quicker than the rest of boating industry. We would not hesitate to get more constructive on the name given a reset of restocking expectations and an improved 12-18 month outlook for the boating industry."
