Cantor Fitzgerald initiates coverage on Omnicell (NASDAQ: OMCL) with a Overweight rating and a price target of $40.00.
Analyst Steven Halper commented, "We initiate coverage of Omnicell with an Overweight rating and $40 PT in 12 months. The company maintains the No. 2 market share position within the automated medication dispensing cabinet market. Over the years, OMCL has broadened its product set to improve hospital pharmacy efficiencies beyond dispensing. Based on its product differentiation and lower cost of ownership, we expect OMCL to continue to gain market share from industry leader, Pyxis, a subsidiary of Becton, Dickinson. OMCL has about 40% share and is likely to gain 1-2% each year, equating to about 100-150 hospitals annually."
