Cantor Fitzgerald initiates coverage on Emergent BioSolutions (NYSE: EBS) with a Overweight rating and a price target of $62.00.
Analyst Brandon Folkes says high barriers to entry and increasing threats makes the company attractive. The analyst comments "Emergent does not have the risk of commercial insurance reimbursement, or payer pricing pressures on its products. The company has set a goal of $1B in revenue which we expect it to reach through the renewal of contracts, pipeline advancements and business development. As investors appreciate the durability and revenue potential of Emergent's portfolio we expect upwards earnings revisions and multiple expansion to drive the stock higher."
