Cantor Fitzgerald initiates coverage on Cerner (NASDAQ: CERN) with a Overweight rating and a price target of $66.00.
Analyst Steven Halper commented, "We initiate coverage of Cerner with an Overweight rating and $66 PT in 12 months. Cerner remains the bellwether among publicly traded healthcare IT companies, however, we recognize that investors have significant concerns regarding the company’s future growth prospects. We do not share these concerns and believe the shares are considerably undervalued at this juncture. Our DCF-based price target is $66 in 12 months, which represents about 36% upside from current levels. Our DCF assumptions are extremely conservative but reflect a significant reduction in capital spending as the company completes the initial phase of its new campus build-out."
