BTIG analyst Douglas Harter initiates coverage on Orchid Island Capital (NYSE: ORC) with a Neutral rating.

The analyst comments "We are initiating coverage of Agency mREIT ORC with a Neutral rating. ORC trades at a discount (lower P/B and higher dividend yield) to Agency peers, which we feel is warranted given ORC's track record of lower than peer economic returns. Either improvement in relative returns or a wider relative discount to Agency peers would make us more constructive on the shares."
