On CNBC, Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) CEO Ed Bastian answered a question on Warren Buffett's recent stock sales, saying it was related to 10% ownership rules.
Bastian added that he is not at liberty to discuss conversations with Mr. Buffett, and said: "we'll see what happens."
Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway remains a holder of 58.9 shares (9.2%) following stock sales in April, down from 70.9 million shares at the end of the year.
Delta and other airlines have been among the hardest hit due to the coronavirus outbreak, with current capacity running at 5% of normal.
