Yao brings more than 30 years of experience in finance, operations and business transformation across industrial manufacturing, healthcare and distribution sectors. Yao also served as CFO and Executive Vice President of Markel Food Group, a global food processing equipment manufacturer, where she led finance transformation, established a Kaizen-based operating model and oversaw capital allocation and merger and acquisition activity, including oversight of China operations. Yao holds an EMBA from the University of Rochester's Simon Business School, a Master of Accountancy in Tax from Virginia Tech and a BA from East China Normal University. She is a former CPA.
