Travere Therapeutics names new CEO effective December 2026

Travere Therapeutics (Nasdaq: TVTX) announced that Eric Dube, Ph.D., will step down as president and chief executive officer to focus on his health and family. Bradley L. Campbell has been appointed to succeed him, effective December 1, 2026.

Campbell previously served as president and CEO of Amicus Therapeutics, now a wholly owned subsidiary of BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. He brings more than 25 years of biopharmaceutical experience, with nearly 20 years at Amicus in roles of increasing responsibility before becoming its CEO in 2022. He has also held commercial and business development roles at Genzyme and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Dube, who became CEO in January 2019, will remain in his current role until December 1, 2026, and will continue as executive advisor through February 15, 2027, to support the transition. Under his tenure, Travere received regulatory approvals for treatments in IgA nephropathy and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.

"Leading Travere has been the greatest privilege of my career," Dube said, adding that his own experiences with rare disease influenced his decision to step away from full-time operating roles.

Gary Lyons, chairman of the Travere Board of Directors, said the board conducted a "thoughtful and comprehensive search process" before selecting Campbell, citing his scientific, commercial and operational background in rare disease.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Travere at such an important moment in the Company's evolution," Campbell said in a statement.
