Skyhawk Security appointed Jason Schaaf as chief revenue officer, the Tel Aviv-based cloud security company said in a statement. Schaaf will oversee the company's global go-to-market operations, including sales, marketing and channel partnerships.

Schaaf brings over 25 years of technology sales experience, having held four consecutive CRO-level positions at cybersecurity companies. He previously served as CRO at CyberX through its acquisition by Microsoft and later led global sales for Azure Defender for IoT. He also held leadership roles at ActiveFence and Cyolo.

"We're thrilled to welcome Jason to our executive team because he has a proven track record of driving revenue growth at companies on the leading-edge of security innovation," said Chen Burshan, CEO of Skyhawk Security.

The appointment comes as Skyhawk recently launched what it describes as Agentic AI capabilities for continuous security control validation across cloud infrastructure. Schaaf is also founder of Black Knight AI, an advisory firm focused on artificial intelligence applications for business growth.

"I joined Skyhawk because they're solving the problems that keep CISOs up at night," Schaaf said. "Skyhawk's Autonomous Purple Team, enhanced with Agentic AI, flips that equation. It validates security controls continuously and proactively, before adversaries find the gaps."

Schaaf graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Skyhawk Security is a spin-off of Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR) and describes itself as specializing in AI-based purple team-powered cloud security solutions.
