Skeena Resources shareholders reelect board, name new VP

Skeena Resources Limited (TSX: SKE, NYSE: SKE) held its annual general meeting on June 22, 2026, in Vancouver, British Columbia, where shareholders approved the reelection of all directors and the company's Rolling Omnibus Incentive Plan.



A total of 88,651,225 shares were voted, representing 71.5% of common shares outstanding at the record date. The reappointment of KPMG LLP as auditor was approved by over 99% of votes cast. Director Craig Parry received the lowest approval among board nominees at 77.4%, while Hansjoerg Plaggemars received 62.4% support. The remaining five directors each received between 85.3% and 99.8% of votes in favor.



Separately, the company announced the appointment of Ryan Maloney as Vice President of Corporate Development, effective in the coming months. Maloney previously served as Director of Mining Specialty Sales, Global Markets at BMO Capital Markets, and held senior institutional equity sales roles at Desjardins Capital Markets and Sprott Capital Partners. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from St. Francis Xavier University.



Justin Himmelright, Senior Vice President of External Affairs, will transition from the Executive Leadership Team to a Strategic Advisor role effective July 1, 2026, after ten years with the company. In his new capacity, Himmelright will continue to support government relations, policy matters, stakeholder engagement, and First Nations relations, and will remain on the board of the Mining Association of BC.
