Security National Financial names Alissa Neufeld as Chief Legal Officer
Security National Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: SNFCA) announced the appointment of Alissa Neufeld as Chief Legal Officer, effective August 17, 2026.
Neufeld joins the Salt Lake City-based company from LifeVantage Corporation, where she served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Her legal background includes a clerkship on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and corporate and M&A work at a national law firm, followed by multiple in-house counsel roles.
As Chief Legal Officer, Neufeld will also assume the roles of Secretary and General Counsel, replacing an executive who is retiring after 20 years of service with the company.
"We thank our prior General Counsel for his many accomplishments at Security National and wish him the very best in his retirement. As we look to the future, Alissa brings exactly the depth of legal and compliance leadership we want as we continue to grow across our three business lines," said Scott Quist, Chairman, President, and CEO of Security National Financial Corporation.
Security National Financial operates through three business segments: life insurance, cemetery/mortuary, and mortgages.
