Salem Media Group (OTCQX: SALM) announced leadership changes following the retirement of Val Carolin, who concluded more than four decades in the broadcast media industry on January 30, 2026.
The company promoted Jason Mosher from Regional Director of Sales to Regional General Manager, giving him oversight of both Atlanta and Pittsburgh markets. Mike Murphy was promoted to Regional General Manager, adding Cleveland to his existing management of the Twin Cities market.
"Val has become a valued partner for me in his years with Salem. He has led with trust, affirmation, and high standards — a leadership style worth emulating," said Allen Power, President of Broadcast Media, according to the company statement.
Power said the moves ensure continuity while positioning Salem for growth in key markets. The company expressed appreciation for Carolin's service and congratulated the promoted executives on their new roles.
Salem Media operates as a multimedia company focused on Christian and conservative content through radio networks, digital platforms, and publishing brands.
