Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory names David Denker as COO

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Inc. (NASDAQ: RMCF) has appointed David Denker as Chief Operating Officer, the Durango, Colorado-based company announced.



Denker, who joined RMCF in 2025 as Vice President of Franchise Development, will take on broader responsibility covering the company's manufacturing and production operations in Durango, franchise operations, and franchise development.



In his new role, Denker's stated priorities include improving production consistency and efficiency, aligning product development and vendor strategy with marketing, and advancing the company's retail, remodel, and omnichannel strategies.



Before joining RMCF, Denker served as President and Chief Growth Officer of Cookie Plug, where he oversaw franchise growth and operations. Prior to that, he spent approximately a decade with The Vitamin Shoppe, where he launched the company's omnichannel franchise program and negotiated international licensing agreements that supported the opening of more than 30 locations across international markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and holds a Certified Franchise Executive designation.

RMCF operates approximately 250 locations across the United States and internationally through franchisees and licensees.
