Regions Bank, a subsidiary of Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE: RF), announced two leadership appointments effective July 6, according to a press release from the company.

Lisa Phillips will serve as Consumer Banking Executive for Georgia and the Carolinas, overseeing branch operations in markets including Atlanta, Charlotte, Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, Spartanburg, and Raleigh. Phillips joined Regions in 2000 as a branch manager and most recently served as Consumer Banking Executive for Arkansas and Louisiana. She will be based in Atlanta.

Mia Hubbard, who previously held the Georgia and Carolinas consumer banking role, will take on a new position as Retail Service Delivery Manager, covering Regions' full network of more than 1,200 branch locations across 15 states. Hubbard, who has more than 25 years of experience at the bank, will work across Consumer Banking, Community and Market Engagement, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams, with responsibilities that include supporting Community Reinvestment Act and Fair Lending initiatives.

John Jordan, head of Retail for Regions, said in a statement: "The right financial solution at the right time is often the key factor that helps a consumer or small-business owner reach important goals. We're focused on showing up for people when they need us, where they need us, and delivering trusted advice, responsible financing, and convenient services."

Regions said a successor for Phillips' former role covering Arkansas and Louisiana will be announced at a later date. Regions Financial Corporation holds $161 billion in assets and operates more than 1,750 ATMs in addition to its branch network.
