RPM International promotes David Dennsteadt to executive vice president

RPM International Inc. (NYSE: RPM) announced leadership changes as part of a reorganization that reduces its reporting structure from four groups to three.



The company's board of directors elected David Dennstedt to executive vice president on October 2, 2025. In this role, Dennstedt will oversee corporate administrative functions including finance, legal, risk management, human resources, manufacturing and operations.



Dennstedt previously served as group president of RPM's Performance Coatings Group. He joined the company in 1995 as a technical service engineer at Stonhard and has held various leadership positions including managing director of Stonhard Europe and vice president of the Performance Coatings Group. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Rutgers University and an MBA from New York University's Stern Executive MBA Program.



"Dave has been a transformational leader within the Performance Coatings Group, demonstrating his ability to deliver exceptional results while fostering innovation," said RPM Chairman and CEO Frank Sullivan.



Gregory Michael succeeded Dennstedt as group president of the expanded Performance Coatings Group. Michael previously served as president of Stonhard, where he led sales expansion and strategic planning initiatives. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Rider University.



The Medina, Ohio-based company operates in specialty coatings, sealants and building materials across three segments: consumer, construction products and performance coatings. RPM owns brands including Rust-Oleum, DAP, Zinsser and Stonhard, and employs approximately 17,800 people worldwide.
