Prospector Metals appoints Michael Rockandel as VP of communications

Prospector Metals Corp. (TSXV: PPP) (OTCQB: PMCOF) (FSE: 1ET) announced the appointment of Michael Rockandel as Vice President, Corporate Communications, according to a company statement.



Rob Carpenter, President and CEO of Prospector, said Rockandel has been part of the company's team and brings a dedicated approach to his work. The appointment adds Rockandel to the senior management team.



The company reported that 18,699,544 warrants due to expire on March 5 were exercised at CAD $0.30 per warrant, generating proceeds of $5,609,863. Company insiders and advisers exercised many of these warrants, the statement said.



Prospector granted 2,400,000 deferred share units, 1,540,000 restricted share units, and 450,000 incentive stock options to directors, officers, employees and consultants as part of annual compensation review. The stock options are exercisable at C$1.22 per share for five years, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.



The company is preparing for a 25,000-meter drill program at its ML Project in Yukon, with drilling contracts in place for an anticipated May 15 start date. Prospector has allocated a board-approved budget of $15 million for 2026, financed from a treasury exceeding $43 million.



Prospector Metals focuses on district-scale, early-stage exploration of gold and base metal prospects in Yukon and Ontario, Canada. The company is a member of Discovery Group.
