Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG) announced that Shailesh Jejurikar, currently Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Jon Moeller as President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2026.

The board has nominated Jejurikar to stand for election as a director at the annual shareholder meeting in October 2025. Moeller will transition to Executive Chairman on January 1, 2026, where he will lead the board of directors and provide counsel to the CEO.

Jejurikar joined P&G in 1989 and has been a member of the company's global leadership team since 2014. He has held senior leadership roles across multiple categories, sectors and regions, including global Fabric Care and Home Care divisions and markets in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He has also contributed to developing the company's supply chain, information technology and global business services strategies.

"I am honored to serve as P&G's CEO," Jejurikar said in a statement. "P&G people, our brands, and our capabilities in innovation and operational excellence fuel my confidence for a future of sustained growth and value creation."

Joe Jimenez, lead director of P&G's board, said the company has delivered consistent growth and value creation under Moeller's leadership. "Shailesh has been an integral part of P&G's leadership team with substantial contributions across multiple businesses and in both developed and developing regions," Jimenez stated.

Moeller said he looks forward to supporting Jejurikar and the team in his new role as Executive Chairman. The leadership transition follows what the company describes as one of its most significant transformations in company history.
