Primary Hydrogen names Christopher Longton as VP of exploration
Primary Hydrogen Corp. (TSXV: HDRO) (OTCQB: HNATF) (FSE: 83W) has appointed Christopher Longton as Vice President, Exploration, effective July 24, 2026, according to a company statement.
Longton, a Certified Professional Geologist, will oversee exploration programs across the company's natural hydrogen and rare earth element portfolio in Canada and the United States. He will also serve as the company's Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
Longton currently serves as Principal Geologist with Rangefront Mining Services, a geological services provider to Primary Hydrogen, and will continue in that role. His prior experience includes serving as Vice President, Exploration with Hercules Metals Corp. in Idaho, Senior Exploration Manager for Integra Resources' DeLamar project in southern Idaho, and senior geological support roles for New Gold Inc. and Equinox Gold Corp. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Illinois State University.
"Chris has worked at every stage of exploration, from first-pass prospecting and sampling through to drilling," said David Jackson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Primary Hydrogen. "Chris will set the order we work through them in, and what we spend testing them."
In connection with the appointment, the company granted Longton stock options to purchase up to 10,000 common shares at an exercise price of $1.19 per share. The options are exercisable for five years from the date of grant and vest 100% four months and one day following the grant date, subject to TSX Venture Exchange policies.
