OKYO Pharma Limited (NASDAQ: OKYO) announced that its Chief Medical Officer, Flavio Mantelli, MD, PhD, purchased 20,000 ordinary shares of the company on the Nasdaq at $1.40 per share, according to a press release statement.
OKYO Pharma is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on therapies for neuropathic corneal pain and anterior segment eye diseases. The company has said it plans to initiate a global Phase 3 pivotal clinical trial in the second half of 2026, enrolling approximately 111 patients to evaluate a single-dose regimen of urcosimod for the treatment of neuropathic corneal pain.
