NovaBridge Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: NBP) has appointed Chuck Silberstein, M.D., M.B.A. as Chief Financial Officer, effective November 2, 2026, according to a company statement.
Silberstein succeeds Kyler Lei, who is stepping down from the role. He brings more than 25 years of experience in biotechnology leadership, corporate finance, capital markets, business development, and healthcare investing.
Most recently, Silberstein served as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FytonBio. Prior to that, he was CFO of GentiBio and CFO and Head of Business Development at Applied Therapeutics, which was previously listed on Nasdaq. Earlier in his career, he held business development and R&D strategy roles at Allergan and worked as a healthcare investor and analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, BNY Mellon, and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Silberstein holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia Business School, an M.D. with Distinction in Research from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and a B.A. in Biology from Yeshiva University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a licensed physician in New York State.
NovaBridge CEO Srishti Gupta, M.D., M.P.P., said Silberstein's background in public-company financial leadership and capital markets is "particularly relevant" as the company advances its portfolio.
NovaBridge is a biotechnology company focused on clinical development and strategic partnerships. Its pipeline includes givastomig, a Claudin 18.2 × 4-1BB bispecific antibody in development for gastrointestinal malignancies, and Visara, its majority-owned ophthalmology subsidiary.
