NetSol Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTWK) has appointed Michael Ramsey as Vice President of Sales for its Transcend Finance platform in the Americas, the company announced. Ramsey, based in Austin, Texas, reports to Faizaan Ghauri, President of NetSol Technologies Americas.
Ramsey brings more than 30 years of experience in enterprise software, with a focus on asset finance across leasing, loans, rental, fleet and equipment. He joins NetSol from FIT-Global, an SAP-certified partner, where he served as Vice President of Global Sales and Solutions. Prior roles include Senior Director of Sales and Alliances at Odessa Technologies, Vice President of Global Solutions at LeaseAccelerator, 11 years at SAP America and an earlier position at Oracle Corporation as Director of Finance Consulting.
In his new role, Ramsey will lead U.S. sales for Transcend Finance, NetSol's finance and leasing platform serving auto captives, banks and asset finance companies. His responsibilities include converting enterprise opportunities into signed agreements, developing new business and establishing a sales operating model. He is also expected to represent the company at industry events including the ELFA Annual Convention, the Auto Finance Summit and the AFSA Vehicle Finance Conference.
The appointment follows BMO Equipment Finance's decision to upgrade from NetSol's LeasePak product to Transcend Finance, according to the press release. The company said the hire reflects its focus on transitioning its North American customer base to Transcend Finance.
"The U.S. is the largest asset finance market in the world and we are investing aggressively in it," said Ghauri. "Michael has sold into this market, built alliances across it and delivered for large lenders for more than three decades."
