Matrix Service names Dominic Savarino as CFO, effective Nov. 6

Matrix Service Company (Nasdaq: MTRX) has appointed Dominic A. Savarino as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 6, 2026. Savarino will be based in Houston and report to President and CEO Shawn P. Payne, according to a company statement.

In his new role, Savarino will oversee Matrix Service's finance and accounting functions, including investor relations, treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, and financial reporting.

Savarino previously served as Senior Vice President and CFO at Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc., a NYSE-listed offshore drilling company, where he was involved in capital structure management, investor engagement, and the company's merger with Noble Corporation.

Before Diamond Offshore, Savarino held several executive roles at McDermott International, Inc., an energy-sector engineering and construction firm. His positions there included Vice President and General Manager – Americas, Vice President, Finance – Asia Pacific, and Vice President, Tax. He also carried direct profit-and-loss responsibility for a major operating unit, overseeing engineering and construction teams on large-scale energy projects.

Savarino holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas.

"His record of financial leadership in complex, growth-oriented environments and his industry expertise will be instrumental as we execute our strategy to deliver superior returns and long-term value for our shareholders," Payne said.
