Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) announced leadership changes effective March 28, 2026, including the retirement of two executives and the appointment of three new regional leaders.

Liam Brown, Group President for the U.S. and Canada, and Brian King, President of Enterprise Transformation and Caribbean & Latin America (CALA), will retire at the end of June 2026 after stepping down from their roles in March.

Satya Anand, currently President of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, will become Group President for the U.S., Canada and CALA. The appointment creates a unified structure for these regions under single leadership.

Neal Jones, currently Chief Operating Officer for Europe and Africa and Global Leader Design Hotels, will assume the role of President for EMEA. Federico "Fede" Greppi, currently Chief Operating Officer for CALA, will become President of the CALA region.

Both Anand and Jones will serve on Marriott's executive leadership team and report to CEO Anthony Capuano. Greppi will report to Anand.

Brown has worked at Marriott for nearly four decades, starting as General Manager of a Courtyard by Marriott in Syracuse, New York in 1989. King has spent three decades with the company and led the acquisition of the City Express brand during his tenure.

Anand joined Marriott in 1988 as a Night Auditor at the Vienna Marriott Hotel. Under his leadership as EMEA President since 2020, the region expanded to over 1,300 properties. He will relocate to Marriott's headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.

Jones brings 30 years of Marriott experience and previously served as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for EMEA. Greppi has 22 years of hospitality experience, including 13 years at Starwood Hotels & Resorts before joining Marriott.

The transitions will occur on March 28, 2026, with Brown and King remaining in advisory roles through June 2026.
