Lovesac appoints Jacob Pat as chief technology officer

The Lovesac Company (NASDAQ: LOVE) appointed Jacob Pat as Chief Technology and Digital Transformation Officer, effective immediately, the furniture company announced Monday.
Pat will lead the company's enterprise technology and digital transformation initiatives as part of the executive leadership team, reporting to President Mary Fox.
"Jacob brings an exceptional combination of strategic technology leadership and hands-on digital transformation experience," said Chief Executive Officer Shawn Nelson in a statement.
Pat brings over 25 years of experience in retail, consumer products, and technology. He most recently served as Vice President of Product at Salesforce following its acquisition of PredictSpring, where he led global product development for Retail Cloud.
Previously, Pat served as Chief Technology Officer at DECIEM, where he led digital transformation efforts during the company's expansion and eventual sale to Estée Lauder. He also worked as Chief Information Officer at Champion Petfoods, modernizing the company's global technology operations and digital platforms.
Earlier in his career at Canada Goose, Pat built the global IT organization and designed the company's direct-to-consumer eCommerce business during its growth phase and initial public offering preparation.

Pat holds an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and has served on advisory boards at Gray Solutions and Henry's.
Lovesac, based in Stamford, Connecticut, designs and sells modular furniture including its Sactionals couches and foam beanbag chairs called Sacs. The company sells products primarily online and through branded showrooms.
