Levi Strauss & Co. (NYSE: LEVI) has appointed John Vandemore as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1, 2026, according to a company statement.

Vandemore joins from Skechers U.S.A., Inc., where he served as CFO for nine years. During his tenure at Skechers, the company's revenues nearly tripled to over $9 billion and its retail footprint expanded to more than 5,000 stores across 180 countries.

Before Skechers, Vandemore held CFO roles at Mattel, Inc. and International Game Technology, and served as CFO of Walt Disney Imagineering. Earlier in his career he worked at AlixPartners, Goldman Sachs and Deloitte & Touche, and began at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Michelle Gass, President and CEO of Levi Strauss & Co., cited Vandemore's consumer and operational background as central to his selection. "John's deep financial, operational and consumer experience, combined with his proven ability to help global brands scale and grow profitably, makes him the ideal partner," Gass said.

The appointment follows the April 2026 announcement that Harmit Singh, the company's current Executive Vice President and Chief Financial & Growth Officer, intended to retire. Singh will remain in his current role until Vandemore joins and will then serve as a Special Advisor through November 30, 2026.

Levi Strauss & Co. reported 2025 net revenues of $6.3 billion and operates approximately 3,300 retail stores and shop-in-shops across roughly 120 countries.
