Legacy Education names Joe Bartolome senior VP of operations
Legacy Education Inc. (NYSE American: LGCY) appointed Joe Bartolome as Senior Vice President of Operations, the company announced February 5. Bartolome will report to Chief Executive Officer LeeAnn Rohmann and join the senior leadership team.
Bartolome brings 24 years of senior leadership experience in career and healthcare education. His background includes managing multi-campus operations through expansions, acquisitions, and operational turnarounds in regulated environments.
The appointment represents a return for Bartolome, who previously served as Campus Director for High Desert Medical College in Temecula, a Legacy Education campus.
"Joe is a proven operations and growth leader with an exceptional record of steering complex, multi-campus organizations through expansion, integration, and performance optimization," said Rohmann in a statement.
Legacy Education, founded in 2009, operates as a for-profit post-secondary education company providing career-focused programs primarily in healthcare. The company offers certificates and degrees in nursing, sonography, medical technicians, dental assisting, and business administration.
The Lancaster, California-based company described Bartolome's experience as including full profit and loss oversight, scaling operations in new and existing markets, launching and integrating campuses, and implementing metrics-focused execution frameworks.
According to the press release, Legacy Education aims to grow through organic enrollment growth, addition of new programs, and acquisitions.
