KB Home names Casey Dare as Tampa division president

KB Home (NYSE: KBH) has appointed Casey Dare as president of its Tampa division, according to a company press release. In the role, Dare oversees homebuilding operations across the Tampa region, including land acquisition, construction, sales, and customer service.
Dare has more than 20 years of homebuilding experience, including 10 years with KB Home. He has held several positions at the company, including superintendent, customer service manager, director of customer service and operations, senior vice president of operations, and most recently executive vice president for the Orlando division.
Dare holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. He also served as an active-duty officer in the United States Army for eight years.
Vince DePorre, KB Home's East Region President, said in the statement: "Casey brings an exceptional depth and breadth of experience to our Tampa division, executing on KB Home's distinctive customer-centric business model."
KB Home has operated in the Tampa region since 2002. The company plans to open four new single-family home communities in the area this year: Morningside, Woodland Oaks, Deer Springs, and Meade Estates.
