Humanoid Global names board member Sunny Ray as new CEO
Humanoid Global Holdings Corp. (CSE: ROBO, OTCQB: RBOHF, FWB: 0XM1) announced that Shahab Samimi resigned as Chief Executive Officer effective Aug. 21, 2026, according to a press release from the Vancouver-based company.
The company's board of directors appointed Sunny Ray, an existing board member, as CEO effective immediately. Ray is described as an engineer and entrepreneur with experience in robotics, embodied AI, advanced automation, and digital assets.
In connection with his appointment, Ray will receive 200,000 stock options at an exercise price of $0.32 per option. The options are exercisable over five years from the date of grant and vest immediately upon issuance, subject to the company's stock option plan and applicable regulatory approvals.
As part of the departure terms, the company agreed to accelerate the grant and vesting of certain stock options and restricted share units owed to Samimi under his consultant agreement, along with pro-rata vesting of additional equity awards and payment of consulting fees earned through his resignation date. The company also agreed to a contingent finder's fee related to a transaction opportunity previously introduced by Samimi.
Humanoid Global describes itself as a publicly traded investment issuer focused on building a portfolio of companies in the humanoid robotics and embodied AI sector.
