HASI appoints Nitya Gopalakrishnan as chief operating officer

HA Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, Inc. (NYSE: HASI) announced the appointment of Nitya Gopalakrishnan as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Gopalakrishnan will lead the company's technology, data strategy, and operational strategy as HASI scales its investment platform and internal infrastructure.

Gopalakrishnan brings 25 years of experience from BlackRock, where she held leadership roles focused on business transformation, platform modernization, and large-scale systems integration. Most recently, she served as Head of Technology Platform and Chief Operating Officer for BlackRock's Separately Managed Accounts platform.

"She brings vast experience leading complex platforms across technology, operations, and business transformations," said Jeffrey A. Lipson, President and Chief Executive Officer of HASI.

HASI is an investor in sustainable infrastructure assets with more than $14 billion in managed assets. The company's investments span multiple asset classes, including utility-scale solar, onshore wind, storage, distributed solar and storage, renewable natural gas, and energy efficiency.
