Globant names longtime executive Fernando Matzkin as COO

Globant (NYSE: GLOB) has appointed Fernando Matzkin as Chief Operating Officer, the company announced. Matzkin, who most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer, has been with the company for 17 years.
In his previous role, Matzkin served as Chief Business Officer for the United States and Europe. As COO, he will oversee the company's operational model, client delivery, customer success, and commercial performance across key markets.
"Fernando has played a defining role in Globant's growth over the past 17 years, helping us expand our business and build lasting relationships with clients," said MartÃn Migoya, co-founder and CEO of Globant. "His deep understanding of our company, and our industry makes him uniquely positioned to help shape Globant's next chapter."
Matzkin said in a statement: "Globant is entering a defining moment as we build the next generation of AI-native services. I'm honored to take on this role and excited to work with our teams to redefine how we operate for this new era."
Globant employs more than 27,400 people across 30 countries.
