FingerMotion, Inc. (NASDAQ: FNGR) appointed Chris Polimeni as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 17, 2026, according to a company statement. Polimeni succeeds Lee Yew Hon, whose resignation was accepted by the board of directors.

Polimeni has more than 35 years of financial experience at public and private companies across publishing, distribution, waste management, and technology. He most recently served as CFO of Avax One Technology Ltd. and has served as President and CEO of Polimeni & Associates, Inc. since 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Hofstra University.

CEO Jolie Kahn credited Yew Hon with helping guide the company from an OTC-quoted listing to Nasdaq. "He joined FingerMotion when it was still an OTC-quoted company and helped guide it to a Nasdaq listing," Kahn said.

The CFO appointment coincides with FingerMotion's separately announced acquisition of a 9.9% equity interest in Lyken AI Computing Inc., which the company described as its entry into the enterprise AI compute market. Under the terms of that transaction, FingerMotion may increase its stake over time, subject to conditions in the definitive agreements.

FingerMotion operates in mobile payment, recharge, and data-analytics markets in China.
