EHang appoints Shuai Feng as chief technology officer

EHang Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: EH) appointed Shuai Feng as chief technology officer, effective January 14, 2026, according to a company statement. The board of directors approved the appointment for the advanced air mobility technology company.



Feng joined EHang in July 2014 as a founding team member and has led development of multiple pilotless electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft products, including the EH184, EH216-S, and VT35 models, as well as the GD series aerial formation unmanned aerial vehicles.



The executive has managed procurement and supply chain operations in recent years and currently serves as the company's compliance officer. Feng graduated from Tsinghua University with a degree in automation and specialization in unmanned aerial vehicle technology.



"Since the early days of the Company, Mr. Feng has worked closely under my direct leadership and has been deeply involved in the buildup of EHang's technology system," said Huazhi Hu, founder, chairman and chief executive officer. "As EHang enters a new phase of commercial operations and global expansion, appointing Mr. Feng's as CTO is a further step to ensure continuity of our core technology strategy."



EHang develops pilotless electric aircraft for aerial tourism, transportation, logistics and emergency services. The company's EH216-S model received type certificate, production certificate and standard airworthiness certificate from China's Civil Aviation Administration.
