Curtiss-Wright CFO to retire, controller named interim replacement

Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE: CW) announced that K. Christopher Farkas, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will retire at the end of the calendar year.



Farkas has stepped down from the CFO role effective October 6, 2026, but will remain with the company as Executive Vice President until his retirement date to support the transition. The company stated his decision is unrelated to business or financial performance.



Gary Ogilby, Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, has been named interim CFO while the Board of Directors conducts a search for a permanent replacement.



Farkas joined Curtiss-Wright in 2009 and has held several finance roles, including Vice President and Corporate Controller and Vice President of Finance, before becoming CFO in 2020.



Ogilby joined Curtiss-Wright in 2010 and has served as Vice President and Corporate Controller since 2020 and Senior Vice President since 2026. He oversees accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and internal controls. Prior to joining the company, he worked in the audit practice of Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the College of New Jersey and is a CPA.



Curtiss-Wright is scheduled to report earnings on November 4, 2026.
