Circle Internet Group, Inc. (NYSE: CRCL) announced that Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen plans to step down from his role after more than five years with the company.

Fox-Geen will remain in the CFO position through the end of December 2026 to support a transition, or until a successor is named sooner. Circle has begun a search for his replacement with the assistance of an executive search firm.

Fox-Geen joined Circle in May 2021 and was involved in the company's $1.2 billion initial public offering, among other milestones during his tenure.

"Jeremy has played a key role in building Circle into the company it is today," said Jeremy Allaire, Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "He brought strategic insight, financial leadership, and operating discipline through periods of both market turmoil and tremendous growth."

Fox-Geen said in a statement that stepping down "is now the right time" following the achievement of several milestones, adding that he intends to take a break before his next professional chapter.
