Cineverse appoints Michele Edelman as technology group executive

Cineverse Corp (NASDAQ: CNVS) announced Michele Edelman has joined as EVP, Technology & General Manager, Matchpoint, effective immediately. She will report to Tony Huidor, Cineverse President of Technology and Chief Product Officer.

Edelman will oversee Cineverse's go-to-market strategy, including sales, marketing and operations of Matchpoint, the company's media supply chain platform. The appointment follows several months as a consultant to the Cineverse Technology Group.

"In only a few months, Michele has infused the extensive marketing and sales expertise she has developed through years of working with studios, premium content services, and supply chain technologies into our business," Huidor said in the press release.

Edelman will also manage sales and marketing for cineSearch for Business, an AI-powered content search and discovery platform available for commercial licensing to OEMs and streaming platforms.

Edelman spent 20 years at Warner Bros. in various positions, including VP, Worldwide Marketing, Programming and Acquisitions and VP, Direct to Consumer Marketing in home entertainment. She previously held senior roles at Premiere Digital as Head of Growth and at Vubiquity as EVP of Marketing & Content Strategy.

Her industry recognition includes being named among the Top 40 in Streaming Media and receiving the Women in Home Entertainment Award and the entertainment industry's Wonder Woman Award.

Matchpoint is described as a media supply chain service that automates video content processes and facilitates content delivery across multiple platforms. The company also operates cineSearch, an AI-powered search tool, and the C360 programmatic audience network.
