CarGurus (Nasdaq: CARG) has appointed Matthew Mandel as Chief Financial Officer, effective Oct. 19, 2026, according to a company statement.

Mandel will report to CEO Jason Trevisan and will oversee financial strategy and operations, corporate development, and leadership operations. He succeeds Trevisan, who has served as interim principal financial and principal accounting officer since March 2025.

Mandel joins CarGurus from Fleetio, a fleet maintenance and optimization software platform, where he served as CFO and Chief Operating Officer since November 2023. Before Fleetio, he held the roles of COO and Co-CEO at Cometeer, a beverage technology company. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Wayfair, including head of its North American Transportation and Home Delivery business, and worked as an investment professional at Advent International and Bain Capital.

Mandel holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.

"Matt has a unique combination of strategic, operational, financial, and people leadership strengths that are well matched to our priorities as we grow our leading marketplace into a multi-product platform," Trevisan said.
