Cannara Biotech names Nicholas Fozard as CFO

Cannara Biotech Inc. (TSX: LOVE, OTCQX: LOVFF, FRA: 8CB0) has appointed Nicholas Fozard, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer, according to a press release from the Montreal-based cannabis producer. The appointment will take effect upon Fozard's receipt of a Health Canada security clearance.

Fozard brings more than a decade of cannabis finance experience. He previously served as Vice President, Finance at Organigram Global and Senior Vice President, Finance at iAnthus. He began his career at PwC. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg–Schulich Executive MBA Program, a Global Professional Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University.

The appointment completes a leadership transition Cannara announced on May 6, 2026. Niko Sosiak, who served as CFO from 2020, was appointed Chief Operating Officer on April 23, 2026, and continued as interim CFO during the search for a replacement. Sosiak will now transition fully into the COO role.
