California Water Service promotes two executives to VP roles

California Water Service Group (NYSE: CWT) promoted Todd K. Peters to Vice President, Engineering and Thomas A. Scanlon to Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, effective January 1, 2026.

Peters joined the company in 1993 and previously served as Chief Engineering Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University and maintains professional engineering licenses in California, Hawaii, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington.

Scanlon joined the organization in 2010 and previously held the position of Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Marquette University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Chairman and CEO Martin A. Kropelnicki stated that both promotions recognize the contributions each executive has made to the company's performance. "Both of these promotions are well-deserved. Todd and Tom bring unique experience and expertise to our leadership team, and I congratulate them on their achievements to date," Kropelnicki said.

California Water Service Group operates regulated utilities across five states, providing water and wastewater services to more than 2.1 million people in California, Hawaii, New Mexico, Washington, and Texas through its subsidiary companies.
