CIRCUS appoints Frank Holtey as chief commercial officer
Circus Group (XETRA: CA1) announced the appointment of Frank Holtey as chief commercial officer, according to a company press release. The Munich-based AI robotics company stated Holtey brings over 30 years of international sales experience.
Holtey previously served as director of global affairs at Circus for 1.5 years, where the company said he helped build international operations and develop major accounts including REWE. In his new role, he will oversee commercial strategy, growth initiatives, brand positioning, and international expansion.
The appointment comes as Circus scales production of its CA-1 autonomous meal production robot for customers including REWE and Meta. The company stated it is preparing for deliveries in the triple-digit range next year and expanding commercial activities in Europe's defense sector.
"Frank takes on the role of CCO at a pivotal moment," said Nikolas Bullwinkel, CEO and founder of Circus. "We are in a dynamic scaling phase marked by international roll-outs, strategic partnerships, and rapidly growing demand."
Holtey will assume responsibility for sales and strategy, marketing, partner relations, and customer experience. Dr. Max Schwaller, VP commercial at Circus, will continue focusing on building new major accounts and business areas in the European market.
Circus Group develops autonomous infrastructure and sustainment systems for commercial and defense applications. The company trades on XETRA under the symbol CA1 with ISIN DE000A2YN355.
