Bonk Inc. names founder Mitchell Rudy as president
Bonk Inc. (NASDAQ: BNKK) announced the appointment of founder Mitchell Rudy as president, according to a company press release. Rudy will continue serving on the board of directors while leading integration of digital asset strategies and business incubation efforts.
The company outlined three priorities under Rudy's leadership: achieving corporate profitability through digital revenue streams, increasing ownership of the BONK digital asset toward 5% of total supply, and launching new business lines directly under BNKK rather than through joint ventures.
Bonk Inc. said it plans to expand beyond consumer beverages into Real-World Asset capabilities and prediction markets and social betting verticals. The company currently operates the BONK.trade platform through a partnership with dYdX.
"Taking on the role of President allows me to be significantly more active in our capital generation and long-term plans than was possible in a board role alone," Rudy stated in the release.
CEO Jarrett Boon said the appointment positions the company's strategist to execute long-term vision with precision and speed. Rudy noted the company holds a $30 million interest in BONK.fun and aims to create value for shareholders by launching businesses directly under the BNKK ticker.
The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company describes itself as a digital infrastructure firm bridging traditional public markets and the decentralized economy, managing revenue-generating assets within the Solana ecosystem and operating a beverage division.
