Avantor names Todd Garner as CFO effective Sept. 21

Avantor, Inc. (NYSE: AVTR) has appointed Todd Garner as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective September 21, 2026, according to a company statement. Garner will oversee global finance functions including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, investor relations, and internal audit.

Garner joins Avantor from CONMED Corporation, where he served as Executive Vice President and CFO from 2018 to 2026. He brings more than 30 years of finance, operational, and public company leadership experience. Prior to CONMED, he held several roles at C. R. Bard, Inc., including Vice President of Investor Relations and Division CFO.

Garner holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Brigham Young University, a master of business administration from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and is a certified public accountant.

Emmanuel Ligner, Avantor's President and CEO, said: "Todd is a proven financial leader with deep operational expertise, a strong track record of driving growth and extensive experience partnering with boards, investors and management teams."

Steve Eck, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, had been serving as Interim CFO since June 24, 2026, and will continue in his CAO role following the transition.
