AuMEGA Metals names Rafael Gradim as president

AuMEGA Metals Ltd. (ASX: AAM, TSXV: AUM, OTCQB: AUMMF) announced that Michael Skead has stepped down as president for personal reasons, effective immediately, and that Rafael Gradim will assume the role on Aug. 1, 2026.



Gradim, who will be based in Toronto, will oversee all exploration activities across the company's land package in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.



Gradim has more than 22 years of experience in mining exploration, resource development, and corporate development. He previously held roles including Technical Leader, Strategy at Vale Base Metals; Director of Geology at Resource Capital Funds; Director, Corporate Development - Technical Evaluations at Eldorado Gold; and various exploration roles at Gold Fields Limited.



He holds a Master of Science in Structural Geology from the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil, and is a licensed Professional Geologist (P. Geo).
