Alps Group names Cheing Lye-Ping as chief financial officer

Alps Group Inc (NASDAQ: ALPS) appointed Cheing Lye-Ping as chief financial officer, effective January 5, 2026, according to a company statement.



Cheing will lead financial strategy development, oversee budgeting and planning, and manage audit and tax compliance for the biotechnology company and its subsidiaries. Her responsibilities include risk management, accounting, and treasury functions.



The new CFO brings more than 30 years of finance and accounting experience across public and private companies. From 2014 to 2025, she served as CFO of a property development company involved in mixed-use development projects. She was CEO of Premier Asia Capital Sdn. Bhd. from 2009 to 2013, managing investment strategies and portfolios.



From 2003 to 2008, Cheing headed corporate affairs at Equine Capital Berhad, a property development company listed on Bursa Malaysia's Main Market. Her earlier career included seven years with Arthur Andersen & Co's audit division from 1995 to 2002.



Cheing holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from RMIT University and an MBA from Deakin University, both in Australia. She is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Fellow of CPA Australia.

Alps Group operates as a biotechnology platform specializing in predictive, preventive, and precision medicine through its subsidiary Alps Life Sciences Inc.
