Alight Inc. (NYSE: ALIT) announced that Greg Giometti will serve as interim chief financial officer starting January 9, 2026. Giometti, currently senior vice president and head of financial planning and analysis, will replace Jeremy Heaton, who is leaving to pursue opportunities outside the benefits administration industry.
Giometti joined Alight in 2020 and has held positions of increasing responsibility within the company's finance organization. Before joining Alight, he worked in financial roles at Walgreens Boots Alliance, Paper Source and BMO.
Chief Executive Officer Dave Guilmette said Giometti leads management and board financial reporting, annual and long-range planning, and supports enterprise-wide financial strategy. The company will conduct a search for a permanent chief financial officer.
Heaton spent nearly six years with Alight, helping transition the company into a public entity and playing a role in organizational transformation efforts, according to the announcement.
Alight provides cloud-based human capital technology and services, serving large organizations and approximately 35 million people and dependents through employee benefits administration.
