AIML appoints Erik Suokas as chief operating officer

AI/ML Innovations Inc. (CSE:AIML)(OTCQB: AIMLF)(FWB:42FB) announced the appointment of Erik Suokas as Chief Operating Officer to support the company's transition from platform development to commercial execution.

Suokas will oversee daily operations and execution across commercial strategy, contract discipline, and delivery readiness. He will work with Executive Chairman and CEO Paul Duffy and Chief Product Officer Esmat Naikyar to convert commercial momentum into revenue and scalable delivery.

The appointment comes as AIML transitions from platform development and validation into revenue execution and operational scale for its AI-driven cardiac platform across clinical, wellness, and enterprise health markets.

Suokas brings over 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare, MedTech, SaaS, and regulated clinical environments. Most recently, he served as National Director at Sun Nuclear North America, where he launched the Canadian direct-sales organization and drove approximately 200% revenue growth in under two years by transitioning from a distributor-based model to direct enterprise sales.

His previous roles include senior positions at Canadian Orthodontic Partners, Abbott Medical, St. Jude Medical, Align Technology, and Medtronic, spanning cardiology, diagnostics, and enterprise healthcare procurement.

Suokas holds a Doctor of Chiropractic, Juris Doctor, and MBA degrees.

As Chief Operating Officer, Suokas will focus on ensuring commercial agreements are delivery-ready, aligning product commitments with execution capacity, and building operational cadence across teams.

AIML develops artificial intelligence and neural network technology for digital health applications, converting biometric data into clinical insights for diagnosis and treatment support.
