Apple (AAPL) Gains Right to See Google (GOOG) Android Development Documents

One federal appeals court judge has had just about enough of Google's games, according to new reports Tuesday.

Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) was told by U.S. Circuit Judge Richard A. Posner to hand over information to Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) about the development of its Android operating system. The order came as Google is looking to acquire Motorola Mobility (NYSE: MMI) in a $12.5 billion deal.

Apple initially filed a patent lawsuit against Motorola in 2010 and, in a request to Judge Posner for the order filed March 2nd, Apple's lawyers said the acquisition of Motorola by Google "is highly relevant to Apple’s claims and defenses."

Posner has scheduled back-to-back trials starting June 11th. The first will address six Apple patents and the second will cover three Motorola patents, reports Bloomberg.
